How did you first become interested in making marbles?
We became interested in making marbles shortly after [our] dad build his studio.
What one artistic tip that your famous marble-making father gave you influenced your work the most?
Rick - The use of handmade tools in the making of marbles influenced the designs that we make. He made most of his own tools including items from the kitchen like a butter knife.
What compositional characteristics differentiate your marbles from those of your brothers?
Steve - Most of the designs are the same. There is a difference in some color combinations. There is somewhat of a competition between the six brothers to create something different. Back to artist list |
