Does one series of pieces lead you to other series or directions?
Each series of work is a progression into the next. Every creative exploration is like a journey to an unknown destination. Discovering something about my sculptures and the way in which other people perceive them is rewarding. I make because I am compelled to make.
Which artist(s)' works do you collect? Why?
I collect the artwork of those who I work most closely with. I hope someday that I can assemble an exhibition of the artists who have influenced me directly.
Why did you want to work in more than one medium?
I am a maker. Any art media available to me is seductive in some way. When I see something I am attracted to, I think to myself "what can I make from this"?
